I know 115hp and smaller require only a 5/16" fuel line. I have replaced almost every part I can on my 1996 FORCE 75hp outside of any MAJOR power block rebuilds.

Next up is figuring out my fuel pump. Outboard is now running about 85% decent. BEST in years!!!! I replaced ALL my fuel hoses w/ 3/8" per Frank Acampora, Force outboard guru, comment in one of his FORCE videos "3/8" IS better! So there! lol ~

Do they manufacture a replacement 3/8" Fuel Pump that will fit the 1996 FORCE 75hp? Or am I stuck with just tightening up the SS worm clamps for my new 3/8" fuel line to clamp on to vs the oem 5/16" fuel pump?
If so, sources would be appreciated!

Orginal issue was "idle issues" so I jumped in head first and learned all about this antique! So excited to have it running very good now! Now on to fine tune this relic!

I always use 5/16 fuel lines as I am in Sweden it is metric 8 millimeter.
The smaller OB use 1/4 fuel lines or 6 millimeter.
You can use 5/16, it will be enough but if you want 3/8 you have to check that the clamp will tight and seal around the fitting.
Be careful as the inlet cover fitting for the fuel pump is plastic.

The 85/125/150hp used 1/4" hoses from the factory.
I changed from the twin 88/85hp. they used a 1/4" hose for both motors and supply line from the tank also 1/4" changed to a 225 hp EFI and it ran good with the 1/4" hose.
But be careful when Ethanol fuel is used.
The E screws with the regular hoses, it delaminates the inside of the hose and the hose can swell and cut off the fuel.
I had a second tank under the console and the Ethanol swelled the hose and made a bubble about the size of a lemon, it didn't leak(not then) I found it before any problems happened.

1974 chrysler 135hp, 5/16 into the fuel pump and 1/4" coming out of the fuel pump and into the carbs. both are a real nice fit. slip on with just a little effort and seal with tubing style cable ties
