1987 125hp Force
Model-1258F6A
serial-1253

Now that those are out of the way, here's what I have. Just installed a new stator and took the boat out this morning. The motor runs great and has a lot of power. The problem starts at about 32 mph. There is not enough gas getting to the motor and it starts to stall out until I throttle back to 30 to 32 mph. I have a clear case fuel filter just before the primer bulb and can see gas flowing through but the case is empty except for the flow. When I squeeze the bulb, it seems like the motor wants to pick up but the bulb stays flat.
I looked through my manual in the fuel pump area and found a break down of my pump.I had changed the diaphragm and gasket earlier this year after noticing them being pinched and misformed. There is a booster spring and retainerin my pump. The manual dosen't call for one except in the 5 cylinder models. I put them back in when I changed gaskets. Could this be part of my fuel problem? Do I need to remove them from my pump? I have checked all connections on the fuel lines and they all look good. Don't think I have any leaks. Any and all advise will be appreciated.
