fuel pump rebuild kit

64 evinrude 40hp,can't find the right kit for my fuel pump. I have the one with 2 lines coming out and no filter line, just a cap with screen inside and screw holding it together. any suggestions? also maybe a kit for a 66?

Welcome to iboats miami...<br /><br />Probably can't find the right kit cause the pumps have been discontinued or have been superceded by a newer pump. Check at your local John/Rude dealer for an upgraded pump.

thanks for the info obj. I checked with the dealer and the pump that replaces it is a lot smaller but at this point if it works, i'm going for it. happy boating!
