Hello Everyone -
First want to say that I have been using these forums for a long time but never became a member until today. There is sooo much helpful information on here, and I hope I willl be able to contribute to some of the conversations at some point here.
Moving on to my issue. I have a 1983 SeaRay Seville 195 with a Mercury in it. I went to start it up for the first time of the season (I know late, but better late then never), and I was not getting any fuel back to the motor. I pulled the air cleaner off and looked down the carb when my helper pumped the throttle. No gas. Trying to remember from last time I had her out, I thought I could hear the fuel pump run from the tank area. I peeked up at the tank and saw the filler tube, over flow tube, and a glob of sealant with 1 wire coming out (pinkish in color) and what appeared to be a couple wires grounded to the tank. I am thinking that the glob of sealant is for fuel gauge. I checked the side of the motor and the fuel line goes from the carb back to the water fuel separator, then started it journey back to the tank.
So, where is this dang pump?
Thanks in advance.
