i must be dumb becouse i cant figure out how many oz. oil to gas on my 1962 3 h/p. it says 1/3pint to a gal of gas so im thinking 5 oz.oil ?

USA has a 16 oz pint, U.K. has a 20 oz pint. Where are you and where was your book printed ???

1/3 pint to a gallon is 24:1 ( US or UK)

That is 5.3 fluid ounces per US gallon or

6.7 fluid ounces per UK gallon ( at least it would be if the UK still used gallons pints and fluid ounces)

Anwhere in the world except the USA is 41.7mls ( call it 42ml, or even 40 ) per litre.

I know you are not in the UK because the fuel is called petrol, not gas, here.

Yep, 24:1 is good. 16:1 definately wouldn't hurt either.

I know you are not in the UK because the fuel is called petrol, not gas, here.

here's a question for ya, over here, ethanol-blended fuel is called "crap". what do y'all call it?
