Fuel sealant on carb fuel fittings.

Guys the manufacturer says to use some type of Permetex fuel sealant. All the permetex that I have says not to use in contact with fuel. Anything I can buy at my local lowes that will work, or can I use thread locker?

I use Perfect Seal from Merc, some use aviation gasket sealer from Permatex.

I used high tack gasket sealant, and have no fuel leakage. It is made by permetex and is fuel resistant.

my mechainic told he uses wifes fingernail polish so i tryed it ...it works awsoely

If nail polish remover dissolves that stuff Id be surprised to see it hold up against fuel and ethanol.....

Use Seal All ...its in yellow tube..
