I need to replace my sending units I have 2 13" deep tanks. I just want to make sure I go with the right length unit, im thinking if the 6-12" Moeller, or should I go with something longer. Any info would be great befor buying Thx

That does look like a good unit from Teleflex

Re: Fuel Sending Unit length Question

Take a hint from your existing sender and match it in mounting position and length. Then your gauge readings should be familiar to you. Best rule of thumb however is to set it high so the when it says E you still have some fuel (amount depends on boat and you) to get you home. Just ensure you don't cheat yourself since you know it's high you stay out just a little bit longer and wind up dry.

I think I measured my existing one but it has that bend so I didn't think it through, Ill have to do that again:happy: I was thinking of having it a little short so when its empty it hangs a little off the bottom. All good things, thx guys
