Fuel Sending Unit

Are the reed switch fuel sending units a replacement for the electric swing arm types?

Do they work with standard 12V gauges? Same wiring diagram?

It may not matter, but this is for a galvanized steel fuel tank in a 1962 Century Coronado with a 12-volt system.

I have this type sender no matter how mush you pitch and roll it does not fluctuates.
