i have an late 80's 85hp(later than 85 from what i gather from this forum, no data plate) force outboard it wants to die at higher rpm, if i pump the bulb it stays running so im pretty sure its a fuel supply problem, however this motor has a 5/16 hose with the 6gal fuel tank attach sys. hooked up to it would it be that it doesnt have enough fuel supply or that the fuel pump diaphragm is bad?
