Fuel System Priming...

Has anybody used the OMC Electric Fuel Primer Kit P/N 174651? "The kit mounts near the fuel supply and when activated, fills the fuel distribution lines and engine fuel system for quicker starting." Sure would be nice to do away with those primer bulbs! Any thought...pros/cons. I've heard little said about these on the this forum. Thanks.

I had a pair on my boat (1988 rig bought in 1994). Both crapped out. $500.00 vs $25 - Easy choice for me.
