I have a 2002, 2301 Seaswirl boat. I want to replace it with a bigger fuel tank. The present tank hold 105 gallons. I would like to upgrade it to a bigger tank.Can someone recommend any information on where this can be done? I live in Pittsburg, CA.
Jing,<br /><br />If the fuel tank is below decks, it can be a real job to remove and replace. There may not be room for a larger tank.<br /><br />Have you considered "saddle" tanks? These fit under the gunwales on the sides of the boat.<br /><br />West Marine offers them. www.westmarine.com
I'd give Seaswirl a call to see if there is room. Why the sudden change after only a year? The major work involved might warrant a trade in Vs cost to do.
