Wanting a little info on fuel vents , after trying to blow air through line found to be clogged along with a kink in it. Engine was running but was hard to start after running a while. Could this have been the problem?

Sure - a clogged vent will lead to a vacuum preventing fuel from leaving the tank. Unkink the vent hose and see if it helps. An easy way to find out is to run the engine without the fuel cap on and see what happens. But either way, you need a clear vent line.

Also found mud dobber & junk close to the opening ,line & fitting outside the boat.
Old screen was gone going to clean & replace. Thanks
