Fuel Water Separator Question

I have included two pictures of the water-fuel separator on the engine. Does this thing open in any way? One opionion I received was that I should put another fuel/water separator on beside this one? Is it a fuel water separator?

2008 efi 350 5.7l.

Nope,.... That's Not it....

Between that fuel Cooler,+ your fuel Tank,.. You'll find the fuel Filter....

Follow the fuel Line to find it......

Looks like the seperator filter screws in from the bottom. It might have a cover though.


Post your serial number, as year and model mean next to nothing.

I understand the question marks. It is not a Mercruiser engine. It is a marine power engine. So, Bondo. This thing is a fuel cooler, not a fuel filter, separator. I think that means I need to put one on!. Would it matter if the fuel water separator is mounted a bit higher than the cooler?

nope.... wouldn't matter 1 bit....... as long as it's not 3 feet higher.
