Fuel?

I have a 89 Mariner Pro-V 175. i was told to run premium gas instead of the regular. i was wondering if it would do the same if i put regular in and just added octane booster, because i think it would be a little cheaper to do that instead. gas prices are expected to go over $2 bucks and thats just for the regular, premium i'm sure would be like $2.35 or something like that. so it would cost quite a bit to fill. thanks for any advice.

Your engine only requires 87 octane and anything else is a complete waist of money. If you want to use an aditive, There is a product that I am going to test, maybe next week called GTA fuel enhancer. Shows some promising results. Im not afiliated with them at all.<br /><br /> GTA Fuel Enhancer
