Hello To All

I just purchased a 2002 Bayliner Trophy outboard Mercury 125, where and how do you fuel this boat. Do I mix the oil and gas and pour into the Mercury motor, or do I pour gas into the side of the boat where the gas intake port is? The older gentlemen I got the boat from seem to have lost his memory, The boat sat for a while before I purchased it. There is a gas outlet on the side that says unleaded, but I keep reading that you mix the gas and oil and pour directly into the outboard motor? Some help me on this matter! Thank You In Advance!!!

That motor should have a cap on the hood for 2 strk oil ONLY. The cap on the boat should have gas ONLY unless the oil injection doesn't work or has been disabled. If it has sat for a while take it to a competent Merc Mechanic who is familiar with the 2+2 motors.
