Fule filter / water seperator for 3.0 ?

I bought a sierra filter at west marine that was supposed to be for OMC's but my fuel filter has 3/4" threads, this one had like a 1" , does anyone know a substitute ?

Get the proper replacement filter element for your particular housing. The fuel filters were not an OEM item on 3.0L engines for Merc or OMC, therefore it could be about anything.
If you have the part number of the old filter, get a cross reference to find one that is the same.
