I have a question , I m restoring a 1978 Sunrunner 18 ,it has a 140 hp OMC 4cyl .The original molded. Rubber fuel line has rotted and I was wondering if it could be replaced with an aluminum automotive fuel line I can get bulk in length long enough to make a one price replacement. Would there be any problems ?

USCG Regs state use USCG Type A1 fuel line where flexible is needed. Use Type A2 for fill and vent hose

The new fuel hose will not deteriorate with E10 gas

your choice is steel line or A1-15 flexible rubber lines

aluminum and copper are not to be used

Ayuh,...... I switched to the 3/8" copper/ nickle brake line material I discovered a year or so ago,.....

Nice strong stuff, that don't rust,.....
