If the motor still runs fine when pulling wires 1,3,5 and won't start when pulling 2,4,6 then I would say 2,4,6 are OK and 1,3,5 are broke.

Re: FULL THROTTLE RUNNING AT HALF POWER

That was a real helpful reply MrWick. I think I'll diagnose my future problems with that advise....Anyways, it sounds like you have a bad stator or switchbox. Under the flywheel you will see 6 wires coming from the Stator. Don't quote me on this but I think there should be 2 yellow, 2 blue, and 2 red. You will notice that the reds and blues might have a stripe on them as well as being blue. If you find the 2 blue wires unconnect them and switch them. Do the same with the 2 Red wires and the yellow wires. See if the other 3 cylinders that were firing before will not fire after you change the 2 red and the 2 blue wires around. If I am correct in them not firing then I will say with almost 100% certainty that it sounds like the STATOR is bad. Also when I said switch the wires around I DID NOT MEAN SWITCH A RED TO A BLUE OR A YELLOW TO A RED. I meant switch the blue with the other blue and the same for the reds and yellows. If you switched the wires around and noticed that the original cylinders are still firing and the original other cylinders still are not firing then I would say a switchbox needs to be replaced.
