I have started the deconstruction of my '62 Fabuglas , and this is what I found. I was really surprised ,as I thought a 42 year old boats bones would be a lot worse than this :D . I have posted a pic to keep those of you on this forum who have been helping me out can keep an eye on my progress :D . I do need a little help as to how to cut the glass/wood from the tight area in the bow , any suggestions as to what type of tool would be easiest to use??? Thanks for any suggestions ,RR

Best thing is a 4.5" angle grander and a metal disk wheel. Same for the edges. To clean it up use a grinding wheel instead of a cutter.<br />Good luck and the stringers really look ok from what i can see. might want to rent a moisture meter and then seal them up.

Thanks Realgun for the info!!! I have sent some close up pics of the stringers (mulch) . Notice the galvanized nail stickin out of the rotten stringer, how funny is that? Thanks again, RR

Sure Classic!!! If you have a website or webhosting just copy your photo URL(address). Do this by right clicking photo you want in your post and click properties , then highlight URL with your mouse right click again and click copy. Then click "IMAGE" on full reply or post new topic page. It is located below your topic column where instant Graemlins and instant UBB code headings are shown. Then paste your pics URL in the pop-up window and it will post your pics in your reply!!!! :D Hope this helps classic!!! Let me know if I can be of further help, RR
