This may be old news (and it's not Starcraft but close) to you guys but there was a group out of Knoxville TN that did precision boating shows. They only used Feather-Craft aluminum boats. Check it out:

My dad knew one of the main guys, Dixie Loy. My dad ran an Exxon station and Dixie traded with us for his day-job. I found this site and video when we moved back to Knoxville. Quite a stroll down memory lane.

Here is another Feather-Craft site http://www.feathercraftboats.com/ Thay are having a gathering about an hour cruise downstream from me Sept 23-24. I plan to go to see the cool boats and show off my Starcraft.

Awesome pics... I love vintage B/W photos of a bygone era. Makes you feel like you were part of the fun back in those days. Very neat club and the shaping of those old feathercraft boats were/are unique and very cool . thx for sharing.
