That sounds like an option unclewillie...Thank you.. much cheaper than replacing the fuse box in the truck!

Ya...There is a trailer parts supply place down the road about 10 miles. I'll call em in the morning, if not i've bookmarked the etrailer link you guys posted. would o'reillys or advance auto have it?
Thanks for that diagram, i'm sure it will come in handy for any future issues with the lights.

Sometimes that is more work lol. Today I picked up some sumbersible LED's and bought 2 lefts. Went back and exchanged one for a right side.....got it home and realized the cover was cracked......went back and exchanged it again......then forgot to get heat shrink tubing.....I think I was there 4-5 times today.

Re: funky dodge ram trailer wiring

Truck/trailer wiring is working great. Finally. I picked up a converter at Advance auto for the lights. The kit from etrailer was custom for the dodge and probably would have been a bit easier to figure out but the generic converter kit that I got works fine. It took some testing with a multimeter to sort out which wires went to what, but once all sorted it works fine.
Thanks to all for the help! Josh P, those wiring diagrams are great! Thank you.
