Id like to get 6k for my boat too, but it aint gonna happen. This guy must be gettin some of that good stuff up there in K town. http://nmi.craigslist.org/boa/3156286363.html

Must have had an extremely optimistic copywriter... Overall good shape, minor engine work & a little carpet:eek: But I Don't Know about it or boats:facepalm: He should randomly beat his 'friend', that sold it to him for a good price, about the head & neck every time they see each other for a couple of years.

What a $6K pile of horse hockie: Just a little time and a lil bit of money and you will have this thing looking brand new and the trailer comes with it theres some carpet damage but the floor underneath is great.............

Its a shame too because there are quite a few older Sea Rays showing up on the market that look like they just rolled off the show room floor. And then theres this pos, that he thinks is worth a mint.

I've never put an ad on CL, but why are so many ads posted with pics laying on their sides. Or is it a trick to camouflage a POS like that Sea Ray.

I don't know, at home on the computer it is just annoying. But the worst is the sideways or upside down pix when I'm using my smart phone. That thing dumbs me down more each day:facepalm:

didn't read

However, how the hell did she spend money on a maaco paint job? That bucket barely has paint at all... I know Maaco sucks, but even they could do a better job then that :D

The seller's ad intends for the buyer to spend $500 on repairs and $500 on paint job and drive it around! pretty standard "all YOU have to do is..." :D people are nuts....

I just about shat myself when I saw the asking price for this '88 Sundancer at $2,999...was about to drop my sammich and go after it.

Then I almost shat myself again when I saw the pic's...anybody know a good fiberglass guy?

I have a 1988 Sea Ray 27 foot for sale

The negative with the boat, it needs fiberglass repair. The boat got loose and smacked into some rocks. The larger damage is above the water line, and a smaller part is on the bow below the water line. With some fiberglass repair, it could make someone a nice boat once again.

The rest of the boat is in pretty good shape for a 1988. Could use some small odds and ends here and there.

No trailer!! You must have a trailer (or one to use) to transport.

Asking $2,999 or offer.

The sundancer actually is not a bad price for that with the damages. It will cost about 3000 to fix if that's all that's wrong with it but I wouldn't be so sure that's all that needs repaired.
