Mental and Emotional Health Day. Look at it this way...it's not like your getting anything done anyway. And if you do, it probably is not your best work because you are thinking about your new boat! You will probably have to redo it, so why not just wait until next week and do it right the first time!?!

I ended up taking a couple hours off Thursday to meet the haulers, get her parked at the house, and start "de-shipping" her. I think I'll need a bigger garage...

Then we launched her yesterday afternoon...

The beautiful woman in those two pictures grew up in Montana, and the entirety of her boating experience includes a few hours on random ski boats, so she was nervous about helping me handle the boat. We couldn't have asked for better conditions, and ran 8 miles downriver at cruising speed (30ish mph) to a nice restaurant with a dock & outdoor dining, where I snapped these pictures shortly before sunset.

The leisurly cruise home at hull speed, in flat calm, warm temps, zero wind, under a full moon? A priceless first evening afloat.

Hey, congrats on the 310. We just took delivery of our "new" 1995 310 Express on Saturday. The cabin sealed the deal for us. I hope you get much happiness out of it.

no wonder you didnt want to be at work. some of those pics look like they could have come out of the brochure. nice looking boat
