Gale 1945/56 3.0 Outboard Model 64GG9005

Picked this motor up with a stand for $100 (pics coming) . Fired up 3rd pull no problem. HOWEVER, lol, the guy had a "taped gasket" to the tank....LOL..said he had taken it apart to clean it and had apparently not "put that guy back"...LOL!!! Long story short I am VERY green when it comes to boat/motors. I was looking for a manual and found the one HERE.....however this is like another language as I can find my model on page "F" but no where else.

Any assistance to help me decipher this into "dummy" terms to find info about this motor specifically would be greatly appreciated.
