Got to the end of the north jetties gulf side at about 12am. Had the lights working but no luck. Noticed a boat at a distance real close to the rocks. For a minute I thought the boat's anchor was hung up but after a few minutes of watching them they were stuck on the rocks. There must have been 7 or 8 men on the 26' cc. After several attempts they were able to get loose. They drove off away from the rocks heading in toward boat cut. Several hundred feet there was a roughly 40' vessel/yacht parked a distance from the rocks just parked. This 26' cc proceeded past us when all of a sudden we saw them headed straight for them. Yep they ran smack into the larger boat. Ran into the boat which looked like it either cracked or put a hole on the side of the boat. The crash was so loud but both managed to drive off. I love to fish at night with lights to get out of the summer heat. As we all know night fishing is dangerous. Hope those sailers are alright. 3:30 - 5am sunken ship caught 23 specks so not a bad night after all.
