....damn, I didn't like that hit at all. It was a little late....but damn, you have to keep your head up when you play against these players. The delay between the puck leaving Thornton's stick and the hit was about 1 second...but that is still too late.
I agree, Rome is out....hopefully Thornton bounces back quickly.
Ok, Canucks.....cool out, play straight and turn it up guys.

Yeah....the problem with hits like that is when you get high enough on your body it takes your feet out and then you get hit again (twice) by your head hitting the ice which if you see in the replay that is exactly what happened to him.
Quick recovery hopes to him.
