I just bought this game fisher, and got it running. I Noticed there is no water coming out the exhaust, and I'm worried about over heating. I did notice that right below the carburetor at the top of the shaft there is a threaded hole that water comes out of while running. I I place my finger over this hole, a small mist of water comes out the exhaust while running. Is this hole suppose to be plugged. Why would it be unplugged?

Here are some pics

It sure dosen't look right, thats pointing toward the boat right?
I'm not familiar with that threaded hole and the older models don't have it, I'm thinking its a cleanout for flushing and being that its threaded there more than likly was a plug.
can you give us a model no so I can look at the diagrams.

Yes that is pointed right at the boat and it makes a mess too.
The model # is 217 586 751. according to this forum the motor is a 85 or 1886, motor is made by eska and market by sears and roebuck.

I just looked at the diagram on sears part direct and I think its a plug hex part 8021 but I'm not sure.

you can find a suitable pipe plug or bolt at the local hardware store :)
