Hi Chris. I could be mistaken, but I think you need the Game Shark software in order to use those codes. There are other codes that you can enter using the controller though, they look like( Press < < > > circle, square, etc...) You get the idea. Try this website if you have any of the games on the list. web page<br /><br />For any games not on the list try Googling the name of the game with PS2 cheat codes.<br /><br />You probably already know all this, but hope it helps. :)

Thanks drowned rat.<br /> I was just checking game shark software on the internet and your right. I have to purchase software to use the cheats. <br />The games are not worth going through this much hassle to get cheat codes.

I am already putting money away for the Xbox 360.<br /> I can't wait! I already saw some screen shots for some games....WOW!<br />It is going to be so cool!

The new Xbox sure looks like it has some great features. I've always been a playstation guy, but I'll be checking out the Xbox pretty close.

I use the Gameshark on GT3 to stop the tire wear on long races, its insanly too fast without it. Also, I used it on the Tomb Raider series so Laura could climb up anything, right up into the sky if ya wanted.

Climb Anything? :p <br /><br />I'm in if the cheat lets her Climb up my stairs and into my......You know.. :p <br /><br />Both Ps3 and 360 are going to be awesome.<br /><br />Does anyone know if the X-Box games will be backword compatible with the 360.<br />It would be just like Microsuck to screw us on that.<br /><br />I think I have heard the Ps2 games will work with PS3.

Yes, the Xbox games will be backwork compatible. <br />I think they said there are 140 games that will be compatible.<br />I just hope they get a different controller. I never liked the Xbox controllers.

So Lubedude, did you have to purchase the gameshark software, and if so, how much was it? Also, is it worth my time to get it? <br />Thanks,<br />B.C.

Yes, I had to buy the Gameshark software. Its only worth it if ya want to cheat. I think I paid likeabout $50.00, you can get a better deal on Ebay though. I try and not use it like for mega money and things that ruin the game. Been there, done that! I dont get to play as much as I would like, mostly a winter thing when the wife goes to spend the night with the grandkids and I have some time. Now I have to get GT4, My 25 year old kid is way ahead of me on that one. Believe it or not, I can mostly hold my own with him now when he comes over, he cant believe I can beat him sometimes but rarely. Sometimes we will build identical cars and he will spot me 100 HP or so, I know more about how to set the cars up than he does. Makes it fun though.

Thanks Lubedude,<br />I think I will check it out on Ebay and see if I can find a cheap gameshark software deal. <br />If not, then I can wait for Xbox 360 or PS3.<br />I have 16 games for PS2 right now and some games I just cannot get past certain points in the game. <br />But I guess that is what practicing is for. <br />By the way, I am still undefeated in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 and 2005. That is the only game I am proud of :D No cheat codes were ever used during play.
