Sunday my son and I had planned to go to the Panther game and I gave him some money last week and he had the 2 tickets. At the last minute he wants to take his new girlfriend and was going to get an extra ticket. He bought one from a street seller for 50 bucks several hours before we met up at the stadium. As we 3 went in his girlfriend first we suddenly learned that her ticket wasnt for Sundays game BUT the game on dec 24........Those tickets will be plentiful and cheap, very cheap right before that game and the con man for sure wouldnt have got 50 for it then.. Hope my kid learned a lesson...His girlfriend almost started to cry and said that she would just leave and let us see the game. I put my arm around her shoulders and said "dont worry about it, we will just go back outside and get you another ticket" which we did..I paid for it only 30 bucks for this one and we checked it good...just call me santa..at least the son most likely learned a lesson.

I'm almost 30 and my dad still (thankfully) bails me out when I screw up sometimes. (not jail... I mean when the furnace kicks out in December)
You sound like a good dad, too. :D

That stinks - though, it's good it only cost $50 to learn the lesson. I've gotten rolled once on tickets to a show here in town, and it cost me more like $120 to learn the lesson. Watch who you buy from (mine even looked like a legit box office).
