Hi, I recently purchased a Gamefisher 1.75. I got it running by cleaning the carb. and giving the engine a good cleaning. I wanted to get a new spark plug for it. I called sears and they said the matching part was from a company that makes spark plugs that i've never heard of. I called Tanaka and they wouldn't give the the spark plug brand or model# just the part number. Do any of you folks know what model either Champion or NGK works in these engines? Do 1.75's from different years take different plug models? Also I wanted to find out what the gap spec. should be. Couldn't find this on the internet and the Tanaka tech. didn't know either. I've read that the fuel shutoff/fuel filter is not the greatest in these motors. Anyone have any recommendations for an aftermarket part that's better? Lastly I wanted to find out what year the engine is. I have the model and serial #'s. Again neither Sears nor Tanaka could help. Thanks so much, Mike.
