Anybody got any idea where you could order a coil for game fisher 3.5 hp model # 217-585280 spark plug wont spark

Why do you think you need a coil? They made that motor with both points and a solid state ignition. If you have the SSI stator under the flywheel, it ain't the 'coil. The Sears site is dead this morning, or I'd look it up here;

Sears site came back long enough to see that it is a points motor, and does have a coil. it's # 30560A, superseded by part # 33-363. That coil is not rare at all, and I'd be looking for former Tecumseh power equipment dealers to see if I couldn't get it locally first. If not, call these guys;
