I'm looking for tech info. my motor blew a head gasket, i have a new one but i need to know the torque specs for the head bolts.

crankcase cover screws should be tightened to 70-80 in lbs torque in 20 in lb increments as follows 9 8 5 4 1 2 3 6 7 10

sorry mike i can't seem to get the bolt pattern to post the correct way if your looking at the motor 5,3,1 are in a line 1 in the middle 2 is off set from 46, so starting in the middle with number 1 across to off set 2, under 1 to 3, above off set 2 is 4, across from 4 is 5, below off set 2 is 6, then adjacent to 3 is 7, adjacent to 4 is 8, next to 8 is 9 and last one is 10 adjacent to 6. i really hope i didn't absolutely confuse you.

wow i just realized i gave you the crankcase bolt pattern and not the head gasket disregard everything i just posted as this has nothing to do with what your working on. it must be the heat.
