Old sears gamefisher I've been redoing. Some before and after pics. Boat was in bad shape. I glassed in a deck supported by pour foam. Sanded, sanded, sanded some more. Got fiberglass dust everywhere. Painted entire boat with rustoleum topside paint. Added the grip additive for the deck, casting deck and rear bench seat. Made a transom mod to raise motor height 3"and bring cav plate about even with keel. Overall I'm happy with the results. Boat looks pretty good. Water tested it before i raised the motor and with myself, my wife and 4yr old daughter. I topped out at 12-13mph. 9.9 gamefisher 1986. I'll post again after i test the new outboard height. I still have work to do before I'd say it's done. Still needs lights, wiring, rod holders, maybe a trolling motor. Oh and defiantly a cup holder. No boats complete without a cup holder. Might mount some swivel seats one on the back bench and one on a riser a few feet behind the raised bow seat area. The wood in the deck should support it No problem. Now what to name it?
