gap for plugs

hadnt changed plugs ever on 95 6o hp merc owned 6 or 7 yrs installed them gapped at .0040 is this right ? old plugs checked at .0050??:redface:

Too many zeros in your gap measurements. I think you really meant .040 and .050.
