I have a 87 3.7 merc 165 hp engine thats in a boat i purchased over the winter. the only info i could find on the settin for this year is i believe between 16 and 19 but also might be as much as 22? I have it set at about 18, i had no spark at all at first but now have a week one at first then none, would like to make sure its at the proper gap before moving on. thnks!
