IntrepidSB,<br /><br />You should budget about 2' for the leg. usually the problem people experience in your cituation is the tong of trailer. Many trailer bulders offer swing away or detachable tongs for this purpose. If you are purchasing the boat new... look into this option. I think most will memebers of the board will agree on to this on this statement... buy the boat you love and find the house/storage to fit it.<br /><br />Good luck and welcome!

IntrepidSB <br />Measure from the tip of the trailer tongue to the tip of the prop and add 1 foot. That is what you will need at the very least. A 19' boat would need a minimum of around 23' to work.

Just in case.<br />If you do not have a roll-up door but have the style that tilts as it opens you will likely need to allow a little extra room.
