I have heard of some stuff you spray on the ground around the garden spot to keep unwanted critters out.

Has anyone used these and if so, were they any good?

Tractor supply sells a dog/cat repellant but I have no idea if it works.

Re: Garden question

SBN, if any of the critters are deer try a bar of Irish Spring soap and a cheese grater, works for me, they don't like the smell of this soap and to be honest I don't either. :)

Wolf urine. Comes in a powder or in liquid. Works great on deer and rabbits.

Re: Garden question

Spinner, my grandmother would plant several rows of Marigolds and Zinnias around her garden to keep out the wabbits.

I used motion sensors, but that works for awhile until they get wise to it. Hook up a relay from a motion sensor to a solenoid on a water hose. When something trips it they will get sprayed by a lawn sprinkler. Most animals don't like water being sprayed on them. Just a thought to kick around.
