I noticed that the Garmin Web Site is offering a software update to version 2.9. When you download the update ( to USB Card Programmer ) and install it, the software version on the 178c screen remains 2.8. Even the software downloaded is called 280 which indicates there is not a 2.9 as listed.. Anybody else experienced this?
