Garmin 478 nmea connection to ETec?

Hello, I'm looking for information on how to connect an Evinrude ETec 115 to a Garmin 478 chartplotter. I understand they're both NMEA 2000 but haven't found any instructions regarding the actual connection. I already have a depthfinder installed in the boat. Thx.

Sorry. The Garmin 478 is NOT NMEA 2000 compliant. It uses the NMEA 0183 interface which doesn't support many engine functions.
