Gas cap

I have a 2003 2 1/2 hp Mercury outboard. The gas cap seal has gone bad and it leaks. I am having problems finding this gas cap assembly. Anyone know where I might find one?

tank on the engine? or a remote tank?

This plastic junk will give folks problems in the future.------I epoxied a metal filler neck using a metal cap into one of those tanks a few years ago.----No more issues.

Tried local merc dealer and all he did was blink at me. This filler cap is for in tank that sits atop the engine.

Got a serial number for the motor. I'm seeing a couple of different gas caps and seals.
