I have a 1984 22' aquasport with a 85 gallon alluminum tank. The deck has a removable floor panel. The tank is mounted within an enclosed compartment and the smell is contained within this areaThis panel has three inspection ports and when I remove any of them I get a strong smell of gas.I dont think I have a leak but I do get some water in there, probably due to leaks in the deck plate.I removed the floor paneland tightened everything up.I noticed that the outside layer of the fill hose has a lot of cracking on it.Could this allow fumes to permeate through?Ithought of replacing it but it seems alittle difficult because it is foamed in as it comes up the interior of the gunwale. Is there something I can coat the crackled section of hose with? From what I can see its not cracked in the gunwale area, only in the fiberglass"tank".Thanks for any input and thanks Bondo for your previous help,I changed the two spinoffs and added a racor seperator and the boat ran great this weekend!
