A hard primer bulb means the floats are sealing the needle valves properly. Don't forget, starters don't have 100% duty cycles.

make absolutly sure that the float levels are set correctly, and that your linkages are opening your carb butterflys at the correct time, known as a link n sinc (see ur manual). The click you hear, at least on old motors like mine is the choke solonoid actually pulling the choke butterflys closed!

All i can say is to double chech your floats and all adjustments you made. To check to see if it is not getting gas take some premix gas in a spray bottle and spay down the throat of the carbs and see if it starts if it does it is not getting gas, if it does not may mean its flooded. Also after starting you can pull a spark plug and see if it appears too wet!

Where is the choke solonoid. When I would push the key in before, It would click but now no click. I don't think the gas is makingit to the motor.

Should the linkage be automatically pushed forward (and therefore opening the carbs) when you start the motor. Or does this happen only when you push it in gear?

Here is a picture that I posted earlier. Do any of you know what it is? Gas was coming out of one of the tubes connectedto this pretty much about the same time that the motor no longer started. Does it have anything to do with starting the motor? Is this the choke solonoid?

And where is the "choke plunger"?

your motor is newer than mine and i am not positive as to the starting mecanism. From what i have read that others post i think that is the knob on your choke solonoid. i beleive that the new ones squirt gas into the cyls. where mine pulls the choke butterflys closed on the carb when the key is pushed in. No the butterflys for throttle should be slosed when trying to start the motor unless you give it some throttle. They remain closed even while ideling untill you push the throttle!

Hope this is of a little help.
