Hey QC, don't start that Otto cycle and P-V diagram stuff. You know it's not true. I just got a message that Iboats has deleted my post on boat performance because according to Mercruiser:
"The basic main concern was that the cruise speed with plates open farther on carbed engines, was not better fuel economy, and they are afraid it would lead too many people to believe that adding pitch and dropping RPM, yet the plates are farther open, is misleading and they are not comfortable with that listed for public viewing."
