gas mix for old johnson

hello<br /><br />is the gas to oil mix the same 50-1 in an old 1950's motor with the circular gas tank on top?<br />green mod TN 27 and TD 20<br /><br />thanks a lot

No, use 24:1 87 octane gas and TC-W3 outboard oil.
