Gas/oil mix comming out by prop will not run please help

I have an 88 omc 225hp 3.0 liter that ran great last year before bringing it in for the winter.i did not winterize the motor b/c i am a moroon,and by the way i had this boat for five years and i never have.so this time when i went to start it it took a while to kick over then it ran for 15 minutes in the driveway so i took it to the ramp. Unloaded it started it and left it running while i pulled my truck to a spot.when i came back it was not running and would not start again so i lifted up the engine and noticed a lot of oil gas mix comming out by the prop. Thanks in advance for the help !!!!

Well the oil & gas coming out is probably because of why it won't run. But it is a symptom, not the cause. Do you have spark?

i only checked the #5 cylinder i dont know why but it did have spark but how can i tell if the spark is strong enough gap was good and cylinder was dripping fuel and oil when i pulled the plug i actually pulled all the plugs and they were all the same i guess i should of checked the spark on all of them tho huh I didnt check the spark on all because it does start for a couple of seconds and then stalls and dumps fuel out of the prop

We are talking about a Sea Drive here, right? Sorry, I'm not familiar enough with them, but it sounds like the culprit may be the fuel pump is ruptured, pouring raw gas into the crankcase, instead of pumping it on to the carburetors.

Yes you are correct it is a sea drive Thank you so much for your input I had no idea where to start I have a direction now. It sound like u might be on to something because it doesn't drop from prop it leaks alot when trying to start. Thanks again for taking the time u were a great help
