can anyone tell me what the gas/oil mix is for this 1962 5.5 fishman/evinrude should be. thanks in advance, gene.

Hi Gene,<br />25 to 1 is the mix ratio. It is going to smoke some, but you have some bronze bearings inside that need some good oil so they don't wear out.<br />If the smoke gets to bad you could lean the mix out to 30-1. I would not mix it any leaner than that if you want to keep the rods in it.<br />...have fun...corm
