Charging a battery with an alernator is NOT overowrking it. That is what an alternator is DESIGNED to do. They are rated at a 100% duty cycle. <br /><br />Using old gas, as I recommended at the time, that still smells like gas and is mixed with fresh is not a problem. Let's not start this arguement again.

NOT a problem with 40:1. Like I said, I use 32:1 and sometimes a little bit more, my motor looks like brand new inside. I'll take a pic of all the shiny metal for you if you'd like.<br /><br /><br />BTW - I currently hold two patents and have a third pending. Those did not come by being dumb or doing everything by the book.
