Hey guys, a few days or week ago I read on here where someone was installing a wistle or something to stop from spilling gas when refueling. I may have found another solution. I was at the local Wal-Mart and found a funnel with an anti spill fitting on the bottom for $3. You place the funnel into the gas tank as usual and the float closes the funnel as it gets full. I have not tried is and it may not work at all, but with gas close to $3/gallon, it may be worth it.

You should make a chart and know how much gas you need and never overfill. A spill in the water can bring a big fine and clean up fee. Also very hard on fish and wildlife.

You can get spill catchers from any marine store that hook on your outside fuel vent, or you can learn how to properly fill the gas tank. You should never fill it to overflow the vent.
