Gas pouring out of jet.

I'm getting ready to sell my boat and I'm trying to get the outboard running properly. It has been sitting for over 2 years, but today I got it running pretty good. The only problem is at idle the jet on the top carb is constantly pouring gas out and none is coming out the bottom. Is this a float issue?

Typically yes.

Wait a day and see if the float frees up. If it sat for a while with fuel in it, the carbs may need a good cleaning anyway.

Yep that was the issue. I removed them, blew them out, sprayed them with cleaner, put them back in and if now runs perfect! Thanks guys.
