$2.24 today, just got rid of my f-250 with a 5.7 and bought a GMC 1500 with a 4.3 now i get about 17 mpg and it pulls my 17ft cobia just fine. the F-250 gets about 8 mpg. I would consider myself a ford guy but i gotta give it to GM they sure can make a truck ride smooth, I almost feel like i'm riding in a car.

$2.49 in Cadillac Michigan this evening. I fell like I am being bent over. But have you seen the price of natural gas? Dropped like a stone in the past week.

I hear ya.... I've got an '85 f250 with a 460 for towing the gooseneck. Had to drive it to work the other day, 80 mile round trip. Should have just taken a vacation day and stayed home rather than fill the tank.

Crude oil has increased about $3.70 per barrel in the last three days. And the cold part of winter hasn't hit yet. A barrel is 42 gallons.

Woke up to a dollar a litre this morning in Southern Ontario. That works out to be about $4.25/gal USD.

It's kinda funny though that the gas prices fell as summer waind and people were screaming about high gas prices. Then as we got closer to the holidays, prices started to climb again every so slowly while consumers were distracted. I realize it's all about supply and demand but.....

Maybe 2006 will be the turning point in the North American culture/life style where the burning of fossil fuels is so dominant to one where more enviromentally consious choices are made....

$2.17 here. We usually lead the nation, or close to it, in price.

You are riding in a CAR. ;) :p

An F-250 to a 1500? Apples and oranges.

Hey, oil companies entitled to a profit, free enterprize, supply and demand and all that stuff. Shortage remember there is a hurricane in the Atlantic (ok so it will not effect any land mass, still could be some kind of a problem), extreme weather (ok so what if the country has beeen running above normal temps).

(new Exxon slogan) "drop thy britches but you get no kisses. We are Exxon we will do it to you right."

You'd think with the higher gas prices it would include breakfast...

Was at $2.00 last weekend now it's $2.17, in less than 3 days. I think the sub $2.00 gas is gone forever.
